The Stonewall Foundation of Greater Sacramento introduced the new nonprofit organization at a reception on November 8, 2017 held at Uptown Studios. Planned to help fund the Laurie McBride Scholarship at Sacramento State University, it was a wonderful night of friends celebrating LGBTQA community pioneers and our shared commitment to support upcoming champions of civil and social justice. Sam Catalano and Laurie Mc Bride shared stories of their advocacy journeys and inspiration that led to establishment of the Foundation.
